A program of Brandau Home Services
Brandau Neighbor Care is our promise that a repair someone can’t afford never stands between a Chicagoland neighbor and a safe home — for the people who need a hand and can’t always ask for one.
Our way of making sure a repair someone can’t afford never turns into a danger they have to live with.
Brandau Neighbor Care is the give-back program of Brandau Home Services. We provide essential home repairs — leaks, unsafe wiring, broken locks, drafty doors — for Chicagoland families and individuals who genuinely can’t afford them, using rescued materials and honest work. We partner with the churches, nonprofits, and case managers who know who needs help most.
Chicagoland families and individuals who can’t afford essential repairs — the elderly, the homebound, and anyone a broken home has put at risk.
Real repairs that keep a home livable: roof leaks, wiring, water, locks, doors, accessibility, and the small fixes that matter most.
Rescued materials and our own labor — often free or heavily sponsored — with community partners helping us reach the people who need us.
The more people who know about Brandau Neighbor Care, the more families we reach. Print it, post it, hand it to a neighbor or a local shop.
Whether you need a hand yourself or you’re a church, nonprofit, or case manager referring a neighbor, the path is the same.
Call, text, or send a message — for yourself, or on behalf of a neighbor who needs help.
We talk through the situation and figure out the right kind of help for the timeline.
We schedule and complete the work with the same care and quality as any other job.
For partner organizations: we help the people you refer at little or no cost, and offer a standing discounted rate on your own repair and rehab projects. We can’t do every job for free, but we’ll always make the mission work.
Leftover building materials, fixtures, or appliances you’d like to see go to someone who needs them more? We’ll put them to good use. See what we can use →
Handy and want to pitch in on a project, or know a trade that’d like to help? We’d welcome the extra hands.
Print the flyer above, post it where neighbors will see it, or tell someone who could use a hand.
Reach out and let's talk about how we can support your organization and your community.
